The wool Placket Neck is is our flagship sweater; a favourite for 25 years, our tried and true placket neck workshirt that also works easily as day-to-day wear.

The button neck allows you to reach easily into your shirt chest pocket and to let a little warmth out when needed. With our signature straight body and drop shoulder construction your movements are never restricted; whether you are fishing, golfing, hiking or gardening. Stretchy ribbed cuffs slide up your arms and stay there when you need them to. The natural lanolin oil prevents rain from soaking through to your shirt. All Pollen sweaters love to be machine washed and dried inside out and at moderate temperatures. Red sweaters will have a red placket, putty will have a beige placket and blue shades will have dark navy coloured plackets.

Pollen Sweaters are made with pure wool that has had the itchy little barbs removed from the wool hair during the milling process. This means that not only are these solf and comfortable to wear, but they can also be machine washed and machine dried without shrinking or losing their shape. Pollen sweaters are available in pullover styles and in zippered cardigan styles on a special order basis.
