The VMC Stand Up Shaky Head Jig in the 3/16oz weight is a precision tool for finesse anglers who need a slightly faster sink rate than a standard 1/8oz, while still maintaining a delicate, lifelike presentation. This weight is perfect for fishing depths of 8 to 15 feet or for maintaining bottom contact in light wind. The Black finish provides a solid, non-reflective silhouette that mimics common bottom forage like leeches or dark crawfish. Its "flat-bottom" head is the engine of this lure, engineered to land and immediately orient your soft plastic in a vertical "tail-up" position, ensuring it never gets lost in the muck and remains highly visible to any nearby predators.

Key Features

• Self-Righting Flat-Bottom Design: Precision-balanced to land and stand upright every time, forcing your bait into a defensive or feeding posture that triggers reaction strikes.
• Stainless Steel Twistlock Keeper: Features a centered "corkscrew" spring that locks your soft plastic securely in place, preventing it from sliding down the shank during long casts or aggressive strikes.
• 60-Degree Recessed Line Tie: The angled eyelet is tucked into the head to protect your knot from abrasion and optimize the "shaking" movement when worked with the rod tip.
• Premium VMC Vanadium Steel Hook: Constructed from high-strength Vanadium steel, offering a thinner wire for effortless penetration on light line without sacrificing structural integrity.
• Stealthy Black Coating: A durable, matte finish that creates a sharp visual profile in clear water and blends naturally with dark, silty, or rocky lake bottoms.
